Phone Setup

1. Acquire the following information by logging into my.vocalocity.com
   • Extension Number
   • Registrar
   • SIP/Authorization ID
   • SIP Password

2. Search for and download the Zoiper App in the Apple App store.
3. Once installed, open the app.
4. Tap Settings.
   
5. Tap Accounts.
   
6. Tap the + sign at the top right to create a new Account.
   
7. Choose “SIP account”.
   
8. Input the following information by tapping each field:
   • Account Name: Vocalocity
   • Domain: SIP Registrar
   • User name: SIP/Authorization ID
   • Password: SIP Password
   • Caller ID: *99
   • Auth. Username:SIP/Authorization ID
   Please Note: If you are unaware of any of the information above, those details can be found in the device section of your extension at my.vocalocity.com
   
9. Continue scrolling down until you see the “Additional Settings” and select “Features”.
   
10. Select DTMF Settings and choose rfc-2833 then Save.
    
    
11. Go back to “Additional Settings”  and select Network Settings.
    
12. Double check the following:
    • Transport is set to UDP
    • Enable STUN is set to OFF
    
13. Go back to “Additional Settings” and select Audio codecs.
    
14. Select only the option for “uLaw” then Save.
15. Once all settings are configured correctly, from the SIP Account menu tap “Register”.
    
16. The phone should auto-register to your Vocalocity extension.
